"Takumi Kantarou" is a brand of domestic hinoki (Japanese cypress) natural solid wood that maximizes the performance of hinoki, sourced from logs that are 50 to 60 years old, with only one piece of heartwood obtained from each log. During the drying process, moisture within the wood moves, causing it to crack or warp. The amount of moisture at which the movement of the wood stabilizes is called the equilibrium moisture content, which is considered to be 15%.
