Internal and External Engineering Technical Introduction: 'Health Assessment Technology for PC Pipes'
Patent-acquired technology! We introduce a technology that can evaluate the integrity of pipe structures.
The "PC Pipe Integrity Assessment Technology" is a technique for evaluating the integrity of PC pipes using a pipe deterioration core sampler and a corrosion hunter. A small-diameter core sampling (φ32mm2 hole) is performed on the PC pipe, and by connecting lead wires to the circumferential PC steel wires, the natural potential is measured. Additionally, the thickness of the cover mortar is measured, and a carbonation test is conducted to assess the integrity of the pipe structure. 【Features】 - Measures the natural potential of PC pipes to investigate corrosion conditions and evaluate the urgency of countermeasures. - Deterioration of PC pipes is judged based on the progression of carbonation of the cover mortar and insufficient thickness. - Work can be performed on both Type I (centrifugal method) and Type II (roll pressing method) PC pipes. - Proposes timely and appropriate repair measures by estimating the remaining lifespan of the structure. - Patent number 4402686. Naigai Engineering Co., Ltd. has been involved as a professional engineering group in numerous projects related to the development of social infrastructure as a construction consultant in various locations both domestically and internationally since its establishment in 1955. We have continued our corporate activities aimed at contributing to local communities. During this time, much of the infrastructure, such as roads and rivers, developed during the period of rapid economic growth, as well as farmland and irrigation facilities established for increased food production, have become increasingly difficult to meet the complex and diverse demands of society due to aging. Additionally, with the frequent occurrence of large-scale natural disasters such as earthquakes and heavy rains, there is a growing demand for disaster prevention and mitigation measures to ensure a safe and secure life for citizens, as well as policies for the stable supply of food, which is fundamental to the lives of the people. In the face of these various environmental changes, Naigai Engineering believes it is our mission to actively contribute to society by sincerely responding to the aforementioned policies and customer needs using top-level technology from a wide range of fields we have cultivated, through the fusion of technologies and bold efforts toward new technologies.
