Our company has improved various issues associated with conventional plating. 【Conventional Plating】 Nickel cannot be used because it is a magnetic metal. When gold plating is lost during insertion and removal, nickel comes to the surface, but nickel oxidizes, resulting in high contact resistance. Connector lifespan is approximately 20,000 cycles. 【Developed Plating Coating】 By using a palladium alloy, we have successfully avoided magnetic issues. Even when gold plating is lost during insertion and removal, palladium possesses similar properties to gold, so contact resistance does not change. Due to the appropriate height of the palladium alloy, we have achieved a connector lifespan of 60,000 cycles.
