The Aqua Doppler Profiler is a flow velocity measurement device that uses next-generation ultrasonic Doppler technology, suitable for seabed, mooring systems, and buoy observations. Its compact and lightweight body is equipped with compass, tilt, pressure, and temperature sensors, which are recorded in the built-in memory. The sensor head features three transducers arranged at a 25-degree angle, utilizing three ultrasonic beams to obtain flow velocity profiles at any layer thickness (minimum 30 cm) and up to 128 layers. With the standard 9MB memory and internal battery, it can conduct observations for 2 to 4 months.
