【High Strength and High Elastic Modulus】 Zylon has more than twice the strength and elastic modulus of para-aramid fibers, demonstrating the highest strength and elastic modulus among organic fibers. 【Heat Resistance and Flame Retardancy】 Zylon exhibits a decomposition temperature approximately 100°C higher than that of para-aramid fibers. Additionally, it has a Limiting Oxygen Index (LOI) of 68, the highest value among organic fibers, indicating its flame-retardant properties. 【Creep Characteristics】 Zylon shows exceptionally excellent creep resistance. For Zylon HM, when a load equal to half of the breaking strength (SF=2) is applied for 100 hours, the permanent elongation is less than 0.03%.
