It is a super fiber that is lightweight, high strength, high modulus, low elongation, heat-resistant, chemical-resistant, and has good electrical properties, which are not found in conventional natural or synthetic fibers.
At Hayami Kousan Co., Ltd., Hamiron Division, we manufacture fiber wires, cords, braids, and ropes using high-tech fibers. We can produce wires tailored to our customers' applications and usage environments. Please feel free to contact us. We also accept sample requests. Kevlar is a registered trademark for aromatic polyamide fibers invented by DuPont in the United States in 1972. 【Features】 - Lightweight - High strength - High modulus - Low elongation - Heat resistance - Chemical resistance It is a super fiber with numerous excellent properties that conventional natural and synthetic fibers do not possess, including good electrical characteristics. ● Please feel free to contact us. KEVLAR and Kevlar are registered trademarks of DuPont.

basic information
**Material Properties Comparison** The elongation at break of Kevlar is very small compared to organic fibers such as nylon and polyester, particularly "Kevlar 49," which has an elongation of 2.4%. The density of both "Kevlar 29" and "Kevlar 49" is about 3/5 that of E-glass and about 1/5 that of steel wire. **High Strength** We compared the tensile strength of "Kevlar" with other materials in both the raw fiber and resin-impregnated states. In the raw fiber state, it has a high tensile strength of 300 kg/mm². This value is approximately 1.4 times that of steel wire, about 3 times that of nylon, and about 2.5 times that of polyester. Additionally, in the resin-impregnated state, "Kevlar 49" shows higher values compared to E-glass and carbon fibers. **High Elastic Modulus** Even when comparing the tensile elastic modulus per mm², the material properties of "Kevlar" are extremely excellent. A larger value indicates less deformation in the tensile direction. **Thermal Stability** "Kevlar" is very stable against temperature changes and can maintain its properties at room temperature up to 160°C to a considerable level. Furthermore, there is almost no fiber shrinkage even at high temperatures. Additionally, "Kevlar" does not melt, has self-extinguishing properties, and carbonizes at around 500°C.
