For long-term storage of radioactive waste and harmful general industrial waste! Corrosion-resistant reinforced drum.
Improved corrosion resistance with Mitsui Mining & Smelting's uniquely developed coating! For long-term storage of radioactive waste and harmful general industrial waste! Corrosion-resistant reinforced drums.
We have applied a non-chromate treatment to hot-dip galvanized steel sheets and independently developed a coating that enhances adhesion to the zinc plating. We have conducted various tests, including performance tests of the coating film and long-term corrosion resistance tests (atmospheric exposure tests and salt spray tests), to confirm its corrosion resistance. Our corrosion-resistant drum cans, developed as storage containers for low-level radioactive waste, have been used at various nuclear power plants for 30 years since 1982, with approximately 50,000 units delivered. We also offer shielding drum cans with radiation shielding performance (lead and concrete lining). For more details, please contact us or download the catalog.
