Crushed stone version of permeable water-retaining soil-based pavement, with a hard surface that minimizes the appearance of loose sand.

The "Toastone Method" is a crushed stone version of the Toast Soil Method, which involves mixing additives into the soil to transform it into a granular structure, thereby improving its permeability and water retention. Instead of sandy soil, crushed stone (0-40mm) is used.
