This flow meter is a clamp-on ultrasonic flow meter (NU2) that can measure the flow rate of fluids flowing inside pipes from the outside of the pipes, with the addition of a DIN rail mount type. It employs the "time-of-flight difference method," which calculates flow velocity based on the time difference of ultrasonic waves transmitted in both the forward and reverse directions from each detector, and converts it to flow rate. Since it measures from outside the pipes, it is not affected by the corrosiveness of liquids, allowing for a wide variety of liquids to be measured. Additionally, the transducer is compact and lightweight, making it easy to handle, and can be mounted on a DIN rail like other devices, facilitating installation in various control panels and similar setups.

Low Cost and Reduced Installation Expenses We have thoroughly reduced costs for installation in panels, achieving a price that is approximately 40% lower than comparable products from other companies. Additionally, the adoption of a clamp-on design eliminates the need for the installation of bypass piping for liquid flow stoppage and flange connection work that was previously required for conventional flow meter installations, significantly reducing installation costs. This is particularly effective for large-diameter piping lines, providing excellent cost performance. 2. Compact and Lightweight for Easy Handling The converter body measures W90 × H90 × D35 (mm) and weighs less than 200g, making it very compact and lightweight, allowing for flexible installation locations. Furthermore, the space-saving design achieves about 1/8 the size of conventional models (compared to our products), making installation in existing control panels very easy. Installation can be done freely in both vertical and horizontal orientations using the rear rail mount plate. 3. Wide Compatibility with Measurement Environments This system measures by attaching the detector to the outside of existing piping, allowing for measurement of any liquid that transmits ultrasonic waves. Additionally, since the detector does not come into direct contact with the liquid, it is unaffected by the liquid's corrosiveness, pressure, conductivity, and other factors. 4. Large Screen with Good Visibility The use of a large LCD with a backlight (2 lines × 20 characters) ensures good visibility even outdoors.
