It is a flooring material with high added value in terms of strength and shape, while suppressing the wood's restoration properties.
The flooring material/solid wood flooring "Presswood" solid type [PWMF] is a new flooring material with high added value in terms of strength and shape, achieved by suppressing the wood's resilience through heating, 40% compression, and shape fixation technology. Currently, the most pressing issue that needs to be addressed to reduce the concentration of carbon dioxide (CO2), a major cause of global warming, and to protect forests, which are a source of CO2 absorption, is the effective utilization of domestic timber. TENRYU has developed the eco-technology (wood compression hardening processing technology) to eliminate the disadvantages of domestic timber (such as cedar and cypress), which is soft and prone to scratches, and has commercialized the eco-product "Presswood." 【Features】 ○ Heating, 40% compression, and shape fixation technology ○ Effective utilization of domestic and prefectural timber; revitalization of forests ○ Increased CO2 absorption ○ Stopping global warming For more details, please contact us or download the catalog.
