■ Implementation of a Coupled Model for Electrochemical Reactions and Thermal Processes The electrochemical reactions occurring inside lithium-ion batteries are strongly influenced by temperature. Additionally, the battery temperature changes in response to the heat generated by the electrochemical reactions during charging and discharging. Therefore, a model that predicts the performance of lithium-ion batteries must solve the governing equations that couple both the electrochemical reaction process and the thermal process simultaneously. Professor Chao-Yang Wang from Penn State University is a leading figure in this field, having developed the first battery performance analysis model based on this coupled process. His group's published literature has been cited in over 10,000 papers. ■ State-of-the-art Physical Property Database Suitable for EV Engineering The AutoLion Suite includes the following beneficial built-in physical property databases: - Templates for eight types of typical chemical batteries are provided, and new batteries can also be easily designed. - There is accurate physical property data available at various concentrations and temperatures. - The materials of the electrodes can be mixed to investigate the performance of the batteries.
