The VDM-7500 is the only commercially available measuring device that measures harmful particle levels in the lungs while simultaneously overlaying particle concentration on video images. All data is displayed in real-time on a computer screen. This technology clearly allows investigators to record or capture related events where workers are exposed to air pollution. It enables the actual visualization, recording, and storage of exposure to harmful dust particle concentrations in the lungs. This new technology plays a crucial role in employee health monitoring programs. Traditional air sampling methods for dust particle collection only used air pumps and filter technology. This method only provides time-weighted average exposure and does not offer a visual time profile of exposure. The new "Haz-Dust 'V'" method overcomes the limitations of traditional methods and is utilized in the VDM-7500. The integration of real-time particle exposure measurement with video has enabled a more dynamic assessment in identifying and analyzing air pollution.
