Additionally, the need for dissolved oxygen meters and various devices makes the measurement costly and complicates the process of easily measuring BOD values. The BOD-BART testing method only requires adding 15 ml of test water to the BOD-BART and incubating it, enabling anyone to easily and economically measure BOD values in a short amount of time.
