The self-regulating heating cable "KTV Series" can maintain process temperatures up to 150°C. The heat resistance specifications of the KTV heating cable are 150°C for continuous operation and 215°C for intermittent operation. It can be used as an electric heating system in hazardous locations of Class 1 and Class 2 in Japan, not only in general areas exposed to acids, alkalis, and organic materials but also depending on the specific KTV products and system configurations. It is the first type approval system in Japan and complies with JIS testing (JIS C 3651). The auto-trace heater (self-regulating heater) is a self-regulating parallel circuit heater developed by Raychem. It does not overheat or burn out even without the use of a thermostat. Additionally, due to its continuous parallel circuit structure, it can be cut to the required length on-site. Thanks to the reliability and ease of installation of Raychem's auto-trace heater, it is widely used for freeze prevention in various industries.
