Ideal for cross-shaped cracks that occur on the upper part of the cylinder head or cracks that have developed from plug holes or bearing holes.
■□■A Completely New Metal Crack Repair That Is Not Welding■□■ The "C Series Pin" is a representative screw that showcases LNS's excellent technology. The CASTMASTER (C Series Pin) does not diffuse cracks; rather, it works in the opposite direction. In short, this pin features a special form of thread known as a "Spiral hook," which has a different angle compared to conventional screws. It pulls the crack areas together and secures them permanently. The key point is the thread design, which differs from standard screws. It is advisable to use the largest diameter pin possible, and it can be applied from a thickness of 0.25" (approximately 6mm). For further details, please contact us.

basic information
**Features** By shaping the uppermost part of the screw thread to have a downward-facing thread that differs in orientation from the lower thread, pockets are formed between the threads. By providing these pockets, when the screw is tightened, the surrounding metal base material is engaged into the pocket side. This action creates a sealed state between the special screw and the metal wall. As the screw is tightened, it hooks into the pocket section with a downward angle of 30 degrees at the top of the screw, and as it is further tightened, an upward pulling force acts on the screw. When an upward force is applied to the screw itself, the surface of the upward-facing 20-degree angle of the screw thread comes into close contact with the surrounding metal. Furthermore, as the upward force on the screw increases, the surrounding metal that is in contact with the upward-facing 20-degree screw thread is drawn inward. Ultimately, when the surrounding metal is in close contact with the screw thread and the proper torque is reached, it breaks at the neck section of the screw. After that, surface finishing work is performed (overlapping work). As a result, tightening with the C series pin generates sealing and tensile force. By overlapping these C pins during installation, airtightness is maintained. ● For more details, please contact us.

Company information
<We provide nationwide support> LNS JAPAN Co., Ltd. is an engineering company that performs maintenance and repairs of equipment and metal structures in various industries (such as petroleum, chemicals, power generation facilities, ships, heavy machinery, automobiles, steelmaking, etc.) using the METAL STITCHING method. Currently, most of the critical equipment used across industries is facing a challenging situation for new capital investment due to the global economic downturn. In Japan's industries, welding technology, which is widely used for metal repairs, has recently led to significant damage to many pieces of equipment and critical assets due to a shortage of skilled craftsmen and inexperienced welding repairs, with many cases worsening. Our company is the only certified company in Japan and is committed to continuous technological development in collaboration with our parent company, LOCK-N-STITCH INC, which continues to leap and grow as a global enterprise. We promise to ensure thoroughness for extending the life of equipment and providing high-quality and rapid maintenance by avoiding issues such as deformation from heat and secondary cracking, which have been problems with traditional welding repairs, while also achieving shorter construction periods and lower repair costs. For repairs where you want to avoid using fire or where time is limited, please contact LNS JAPAN.
