The dual-sided alignment checker 'BS-121A' is an open-short testing machine capable of bulk inspection with dual-sided alignment. The tedious alignment work between the substrate pattern and the probes is automated for both sides through image processing. Images captured by a CCD camera are processed by a computer, which automatically aligns them to the positions registered by the operator. It is suitable for testing the electrical characteristics of ultra-fine patterns such as CSP and BGA.
