This helps reduce drying shrinkage cracking and prevents delays in strength development during the early age of the material. The "Q Mat" can be used for many concrete structures, but it is especially suitable for mass concrete structures such as dams and footings, as well as for curing horizontal surfaces like bridge slabs. Additionally, it is effective for curing mass concrete structures such as the upstream and downstream surfaces of dams, anchorage, caissons, and urban structures like culvert boxes and various structural bodies where watering for curing is difficult.

This is a newly developed wet sheet made using water-absorbent acrylic fiber "Ranshiru F." It excels in shape stability after water absorption, retaining the absorbed water without loss, and can be used as curing water. The standard dimensions are 1 meter in width, 7 meters in length, and approximately 50 mm in thickness. The effects of wet curing are as follows: 1. The wet curing sheet has more than ten times the initial water retention capacity and over five times the water retention duration compared to conventional concrete curing mats. 2. With just one watering, it can maintain the relative humidity of the concrete surface at over 80% R.H. for a period up to 28 days, allowing for prolonged moisture retention on the surface of the structure.
