Imparts water resistance by reacting with cement hydration products. Cement modification and admixture type waterproofing agent.
The cement admixture Manol waterproofing agent is a cement modification and admixture type waterproofing agent that reacts with the hydration products of cement to provide waterproofing properties. It imparts waterproofing to cement particles, reduces water absorption, carries an appropriate amount of air, and improves dispersion and workability. It combines with soluble substances in the cement to exhibit waterproofing effects and enhance durability. It does not corrode iron materials as it is chloride-free. Company information
In 1910 (Meiji 43), the founder Ryujiro Yanaka established a municipal chemical research institute in Dalian, Manchuria, and began research on the chemical applications of the local specialty "soybeans." He made various inventions and proposals, but he felt particularly strongly about the need for the cement waterproofing agent, which was of great importance, especially in the rainy and humid climate of mainland Japan. In 1921 (Taisho 10), he moved to Tokyo and established the Yushi Chemical Company in the area of Jabukubo, Ebara Town, Ebara District, Tokyo (now the headquarters). With the trademark "Manol," he began full-scale production and sales, laying the foundation for today's company. In 1955 (Showa 30), the first president Ryujiro Yanaka was honored with the Purple Ribbon Medal for his invention of the cement waterproofing agent manufacturing method, solidifying his position as a leader in the industry both in name and reality. Recent technological innovations have led to significant advancements in materials and construction methods, and to respond to increasingly diverse needs, the company is actively promoting a variety of research and development activities while focusing on strengthening its corporate foundation with a motto of sound management.
