The ME9100 sends FCMC and checks whether ACTC and WCNC return correctly from the in-vehicle device. The power automatically turns off approximately 6 seconds after the test starts (about 8 seconds for the DSRC in-vehicle device), extending battery life. It can conduct roughly 500 tests.
