Tackiness Checker HTC-1 (Portable Tack Tester)
Catalog No. 236, Model HTC-1
This is a portable adhesive testing machine that measures the adhesive properties (tack value) of non-sulfurized rubber, adhesive tapes, and the like. It allows for easy measurement of the adhesive strength of materials on-site.
In the molding process of tires and belts, where rubber components and reinforcing materials are layered and adhered together for vulcanization, it is very important to confirm the adhesiveness of the components in advance. This device has been developed as a tool to easily measure the adhesive strength of components on-site and can also be applied to measure the adhesive strength of tapes and similar materials. The ambient temperature at the site changes with the seasons, which also affects adhesiveness. The tackiness checker allows for easy measurement of adhesive strength on-site.
