Setra Corporation High-Performance Pressure Sensors Model 540/542 Series
Setra Corporation High-Performance Pressure Sensors Model 540/542 Series
The Model 540/542 series high-performance pressure sensors are designed for demanding applications that require long-term high performance.
The model 540/542, crafted using thin-film technology, offers measurement accuracy options of ±0.1% or ±0.08% FS and has a wide temperature compensation range from -54°C to 120°C. The sensor output is a pressure sensor with a full-scale output of 30 mV DC. For gauge pressure, shielded gauge pressure, and absolute pressure, appropriate pressure ranges can be selected from a measurement range of 0 to 100 kPa up to a maximum of 69 MPa. Differential pressure measurement can be performed from 0 to 100 kPa up to 2 MPa. For pressure ranges from 0 to 100 kPa to 40 MPa, the wetted parts are made of 17-4 PH stainless steel or Inconel. The pressure ranges of 60 MPa, 69 MPa, and 10,000 psi are made entirely of Inconel. When ordering a stainless steel wetted part, specify model 540, and when ordering an Inconel wetted part, specify model 542. The model 540/542 offers options for electrical connections, including a 10-6 bayonet connector, weather-resistant cables, and molded underwater cables (up to 200 m).

basic information
A thin-film strain gauge pressure sensor using the principle of a proven Wheatstone bridge is manufactured by sputtering on a diaphragm made of 17-4 PH stainless steel, ensuring excellent uniformity of resistance. The sputtered thin-film technology allows for a simple sensor design, achieving high precision while eliminating drift and enabling a highly sensitive and compact strain gauge. For pressure ranges from 0 to 100 kPa to 40 MPa, the wetted parts are made of 17-4 PH stainless steel or Inconel. For pressure ranges of 60 MPa, 69 MPa, and 10,000 psi, the wetted parts are made solely of Inconel. When ordering the stainless steel wetted parts, specify model 540, and when ordering the Inconel wetted parts, specify model 542. Models 540/542 can be selected with electrical connections including a 10-6 bayonet connector, weather-resistant cable, or molded underwater cable (up to 200 m).

Company information
Air Water Mechatronics Co., Ltd. ST Division handles excellent measurement/control equipment focused on the most important themes of pressure and flow in the field of measurement and control in the industrial sector. In pressure measurement, as the Japanese distributor for Setra Systems, we have supplied numerous pressure sensors domestically for many years. Setra's pressure sensors are characterized by high precision and sensitivity, and are used in many advanced technologies, including semiconductor manufacturing equipment. Additionally, to accommodate various industrial pressure measurement scenarios, we also handle products from companies such as BD and Honeywell. We manufacture digital pressure gauges that incorporate or externally attach these pressure sensors. Within our company, various pressure standards with traceability to national standards are installed in a strictly air-conditioned calibration inspection room, allowing us to conduct inspections and recalibrations in-house. Regarding flow measurement, we offer unique and high-value-added products for both liquid and gas (mass flow). For liquids, we primarily provide small, cost-effective, and highly accurate turbine flow meters, as well as Coriolis flow meters. We respond to diverse needs with disposable sensors for pharmaceutical and medical manufacturing, as well as certified sensors for food and beverage applications.
