Our company was established in 1989 when Kawasaki Steel (now JFE Steel) and Matsushita Electric Works (now Panasonic) became the main shareholders, with the aim of manufacturing and selling raw materials and processed products of inorganic fiber rock wool using blast furnace molten slag. Rock wool significantly contributes to energy conservation and the improvement of fire resistance and thermal insulation performance due to its excellent heat resistance and insulation properties. Additionally, our manufacturing process reuses blast furnace slag, a byproduct of steelmaking, at high temperatures, producing products with only half the energy of conventional processes. With the motto of the JFE Group's corporate philosophy, "We contribute to society with the world's best technology," we practice the behavioral guidelines of challenge, flexibility, and integrity, and continue to provide products that meet our customers' needs.
