The rock wool non-combustible material, insulation, and sound-absorbing material "Roxeram Felt with Outer Cover" is lightweight, flexible, and has improved applicability to curved surfaces. It meets JIS A 9504 standards for artificial mineral fiber insulation materials and JIS A 6301 standards for sound-absorbing materials. The outer cover is made of aluminum glass cloth, which is a combination of 20μm aluminum foil and JISR3414 (glass cloth) EP11E. The aluminum craft consists of 7μm aluminum foil bonded to 50g/m² craft paper. It is used for thermal insulation of air conditioning ducts, piping, and as insulation and condensation prevention materials for walls and ceilings of buildings, as well as for soundproofing in apartment buildings. Our company was established in 1989 when Kawasaki Steel (now JFE Steel) and Matsushita Electric Works (now Panasonic) became the main shareholders, with the aim of manufacturing and selling raw materials and processed products of inorganic fiber rock wool using blast furnace molten slag. Rock wool significantly contributes to energy conservation and the improvement of fire resistance and thermal insulation performance due to its excellent heat resistance and insulation properties. Additionally, our manufacturing process reuses blast furnace slag, a byproduct of steelmaking, at high temperatures, producing products with only half the energy of conventional processes.
