Slip-resistant Tomatter No.1 is an odorless mixed acid, a special water-soluble solution that does not use petroleum and is non-flammable. Slip-resistant Tomatter No.1 chemically reacts with the glassy (silica) components contained in tiles and stones (hereinafter referred to as "tiles, etc."), and when applied, it dissolves the glassy surface of the tiles, creating numerous tiny and diverse grooves on the surface of the tiles, etc. The numerous grooves formed by Slip-resistant Tomatter No.1 create a surface texture with irregularities (which are usually not visible to the naked eye) on the tiles, etc., preventing a continuous film of water when wet and transforming the surface into a slip-resistant structure.
