With AUTO-MDI/MDI-X functionality and automatic recognition of full duplex/half duplex, you can use cross/straight cables without worry. The EMC1600 19” media converter chassis can accommodate up to 16 units, and the EMC1200R media converter system can incorporate up to 12 units.
