■Direct combustion type - Suitable for handling high-concentration gases with high explosion limits, and the operation is reliable. - No pretreatment is required for combustible dust or tar. - The structure is simple, with few failures, making operation management easy. ■Adsorption type - Dust, mist, tar, and other substances in the gas are pre-treated with a high-performance pre-duster to protect the adsorbent. - The adsorbent can be selected according to the gas properties. - In the RA type, adsorption tanks are installed in parallel, allowing for repeated desorption, which reduces the amount of small, expensive adsorbent needed. ■Catalytic oxidation type - Due to the catalytic effect, it can be treated with low-temperature combustion, requiring less auxiliary fuel. - The catalyst has a long lifespan and can be regenerated even if it deteriorates. - If the gas has a high calorific value, it is possible to recover heat.
