Food and beverage fittings (joints, connectors, couplings)
FDA-certified fittings
Uses FDA-approved resin.
Most CPC products use resins certified by the FDA (U.S. Food and Drug Administration) and USDA (U.S. Department of Agriculture). O-rings can be changed to certified materials as needed. The polysulfone version is compatible with sodium hypochlorite, steam, and hydrochloric acid. There are also straight fittings designed for high viscosity and to prevent liquid pooling. <CPC Plastic Fitting Features> Lightweight and low cost. Rust prevention. Suitable for both gases and liquids. All-plastic versions are also available for disposable use. Dust-free cleanroom compatible products are available for medical and precision machinery applications. The tubing can rotate freely, reducing twisting and preventing accidents of tubing detachment during use. In valve-equipped types, liquids (gases) automatically stop when removed under pressure. There is a wide range of couplings made from plastics that have been verified for safety, including NSF standard C-2 and USP Class VI, ensuring food safety.
