CPC Colder Products Company has 37,400 employees (Fy12), annual sales of approximately 810 billion yen ($8.1 billion Fy12), is part of the S&P 500, listed on the NY Stock Exchange, and is a division of the U.S. company Dover. It is one of the largest manufacturers of plastic couplings (quick connectors) in the world. The CPC Japan Office operates as the Cold Products Company division of its sister company, Dover Corporation's Swep Japan. The company possesses non-spill technology to prevent liquid leakage during connection and disconnection, hybrid connection technology for fluids and electricity, misconnection prevention technology using IC tags, aseptic connection and disconnection technology, and a unique push-button connection and disconnection technology. It manufactures engineering plastics, super engineering plastics, metal couplings, and fittings.
Business Activities
CPC Calder Products Company is a manufacturer of push-button couplings and fittings. CPC couplings can be used for both gases and liquids. They are ultra-compact, lightweight, and inexpensive, with materials available in engineering plastics, super engineering plastics, and metals. When integrated into machinery, they can be connected and disconnected without pressure reduction using automatic valves. Non-spill fittings eliminate liquid dripping during connection and disconnection, and they are widely used in liquid cooling for power supplies and inkjet printers. Hybrid connectors enable the connection of liquids and electrical terminals. The multi-type can connect up to 10 lines. Examples of CPC coupling applications include liquid cooling, inkjet printers, motorcycles, automobiles, analytical instruments, semiconductor and high-purity lines, light-resistant lines, micro-tube connections, and drums. Additionally, there are fittings with built-in IC tags, disposable fittings for medical and food use, biopharmaceutical fittings, aseptic connection fittings, and fittings with lure locks (custom orders are also available). Of course, they comply with ISO9001, RoHS, and REACH, and have extensive safety data and global approval records for medical and food applications. Manufacturing of dust-free products in clean rooms is also possible.
