It is suitable not only for general residences but also for second houses for rural living and temporary housing during disasters. 80% of the materials used are made from small-diameter thinned wood, allowing for about three times the amount of wood to be consumed compared to traditional construction methods. It is a high-performance house developed for the effective use of small-diameter wood and the regeneration of forestry.

The company was named "Nabe Planning Co., Ltd." because it was started by two people with the name Watanabe. While being involved in numerous architectural projects as a design company, we were considering the effective use of thinned wood. In 2009, we developed a new technology for panelizing thinned wood (patent pending). Through this Wood Bank House, we are confident that we can protect the health of the forest.
