In permeable pavement, since rainwater can infiltrate, it has been pointed out that if the waterproofing of the underlying base layer is insufficient, the destruction of the pavement from the base layer can progress rapidly. Therefore, as a low-cost solution to this problem, we have developed a waterproof permeable pavement that achieves both drainage functionality at the pavement surface and waterproofing functionality for the base layer in a single construction process.
