The TRD method involves connecting a chainsaw-type cutter inserted into the ground to a base machine, performing horizontal excavation of grooves, injecting solidification liquid, and mixing and stirring with in-situ soil to create a continuous wall underground. It is applied for water-stopping walls in waste disposal sites, leakage prevention measures for river embankments, water-stopping walls for retention basins, or for inserting core materials such as H-beams, serving as a retaining water-stopping wall during underground excavation.
