It is a port structure that is highly durable even under harsh environmental conditions in harbor and coastal areas, does not require corrosion protection, and contributes to minimal maintenance.
The PC sheet piles for ports are corrugated prestressed concrete sheet piles (with a nominal width of 1250mm) standardized by JIS A5373. The applications of PC sheet piles for ports are diverse, including use for revetments, stabilization, prevention of circular sliding of slope embankments, quays, loading areas, guide walls, and breakwaters. Additionally, under a strict quality control system in the factory, prestressing is introduced using the pretension method, and high-quality concrete is utilized, resulting in excellent durability and aesthetics. basic information
【Features】 1) It is economical because it ensures a service life of over 50 years in marine environments. 2) By introducing prestressing, it prevents cracking, resulting in excellent corrosion resistance and guaranteed long-term performance (durability and aesthetics). 3) The waveform cross-section shape provides high cross-sectional rigidity, which can minimize the displacement of the pile head during an earthquake. 4) It is produced in a well-managed PC factory, ensuring high quality. 【Construction Method】 For driving PC sheet piles into sandy ground with an N value of about 25, methods such as vibro hammering or a combination of vibro and water jet methods are generally adopted. 【Member Dimensions】 Member width: 1250mm, member height: 350–1200mm, maximum member length: 25m. 【Manual】 The "Technical Manual for PC Sheet Piles for Ports" was published by the Coastal Technology Research Center in September 2000. ● For more details, please contact us or download the catalog.

The Harbor PC Structure Research Association was established in August 1989 with the aim of applying prestressed concrete (PC) technology to the field of coastal development. Since then, it has been working on the dissemination and development of harbor PC structures by integrating the capabilities of various companies and organizations involved in marine port structures, with guidance from public institutions including the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism. Furthermore, in order to build a new relationship between the sea and people, it promotes a wide range of activities based on a global perspective.
