The "KMG type" is a simple flap gate (backflow prevention valve) made of PVC, installed on the waterway side of drainage pipes such as rainwater drainage pipes, to prevent backflow during rising water levels. Under normal conditions, it allows rainwater drainage to flow into the waterway, and during rising water levels, the flap gate closes to prevent backflow. Recently, there has been an increase in its use for drainage pipes installed on river parapet walls. It is also used to prevent the intrusion of pests from drainage pipes and to act as a deodorizing valve. Since it is installed to cover the discharge outlet, it can be used without being restricted by the shape of the outlet. The main body is equipped with a watertight packing and is fixed with anchor bolts.
