●This is glass fiber reinforced plastic, a representative material of FRP. It is usually formed by layering on a core called a mandrel, but in order to reduce initial costs, it is formed by bending sheet metal and utilizing its inner surface. ●This is an 860mm diameter, 1800mm height, and 12mm thick GFRP pipe. A groove 1.5mm wide and 1.5mm deep is spirally carved into the outer layer, and metal wire is wound into it.
