We have published an activity report on the demonstration experiment of the VPP service at Ricoh Japan's Tsukuba office.

Ricoh Japan supports customers in achieving decarbonization through services such as the sale of renewable energy and energy management systems (EMS) that optimize lighting and air conditioning. To propose and practice the solutions offered to customers, Ricoh Japan is advancing initiatives such as the Nearly ZEB transformation of its own business locations and is disseminating practical examples to the market. A demonstration of a renewable energy visualization system has begun at all elementary and junior high schools in Nagai City, Yamagata Prefecture!

NR-Power Lab, in collaboration with Nagai City and Okitama New Power, has started a demonstration of a renewable energy visualization system in all elementary and junior high schools in Nagai City. All eight elementary and junior high schools in Nagai City operate with 100% renewable energy for their electricity consumption, and monitors have been installed in each school to display the amount of electricity consumed, the status of power generation, and the amount of CO2 reduction in numerical and graphical formats. The Ricoh Environmental Business Development Center has started a demonstration for the practical application of VPP services!

NR-Power Lab will begin a demonstration aimed at the practical application of VPP services at the Ricoh Environmental Business Development Center. Within the center, a solar power generation system and NGK Insulators' large-capacity storage system NAS battery will be installed to conduct technical verification of NR-Power Lab's VPP system.
