Raman UV-curable resin

アイテス アイテス
Our company analyzes the spectra of UV-curable resins before and after UV irradiation. We irradiate UV-curable resin (acrylic type) with ultraviolet light and obtain Raman spectra before and after irradiation. By analyzing the Raman spectra, we can estimate the curing reaction to some extent. For a more detailed analysis of the curing mode, analyses such as GCMS are necessary, but our company can provide not only structural estimation but also reaction estimation through spectral analysis.

Analysis of crystallinity in resin materials using micro-Raman spectroscopy.

By using micro-Raman, it is possible to evaluate the crystallinity in a fine range (1μm and above)!

At Aites Co., Ltd., we offer analysis and reliability evaluation services for "crystallinity analysis of resin materials using micro-Raman spectroscopy." By analyzing the spectra obtained from a micro-Raman spectrophotometer, it is possible to determine the crystallinity of resin materials in fine detail based on the differences in the half-width of the peaks. We also have case studies analyzing the changes in crystallinity from the mouth of PET bottles to the bottle body. Please leave the analysis, evaluation, and reliability assessment to us. 【Overview】 ■ Crystallinity analysis of resin materials using Raman spectroscopy - The linewidth of the Raman spectrum changes to reflect crystallinity - It is possible to determine the half-width of the C=O stretching band and crystallinity - Relative crystallinity of PET can be determined *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Analysis of multilayer materials using micro-Raman spectroscopy

Depth-direction measurements using Raman spectroscopy! Material analysis of each layer is possible from the surface of multilayer films.

Our "Micro Raman Spectrophotometer" employs a confocal optical system, allowing for the adjustment of the focal position in the depth direction, similar to a microscope, enabling material analysis of each layer from the surface of multilayer films. Using the confocal function of the micro Raman spectrophotometer, the focus of the Raman laser light can be varied in the depth direction. Additionally, by continuously changing the focal position, it is possible to acquire spectra continuously in the depth direction. 【Features】 ■ Adoption of a confocal optical system ■ Enables material analysis of each layer from the surface of multilayer films ■ Capable of varying the focus of the Raman laser light in the depth direction ■ Allows for continuous acquisition of spectra in the depth direction *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Analysis of metal corrosion using micro-Raman spectroscopy.

Analysis of inorganic compounds such as metal oxides is also possible!

The corrosion process of iron involves various compounds depending on the degree of corrosion, and even the same iron oxides and hydroxides exhibit different spectra due to differences in valence and crystal structure. Raman analysis allows for the confirmation of the oxidation state of iron in a micron-scale range. [Analysis Content] ■ Analysis of rust formed on the iron surface - Mixture of FeOOH and Fe2O3 - Mixture of FeOOH, Fe3O4, and Fe2O3 ■ Raman spectra of iron rust components *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Analysis of inorganic compounds using micro-Raman spectroscopy.

Analysis of inorganic compounds such as metal oxides is also possible! We will introduce the analysis of black spots on the surface of copper-clad laminates.

We would like to introduce a case where discoloration on the surface of a copper-clad laminate was analyzed using Raman spectroscopy. Our Raman spectroscopic analysis can analyze not only organic substances but also inorganic compounds such as metal oxides. Please feel free to contact us when needed. [Analysis Details] ■ Analysis of black spots on the surface of the copper-clad laminate - Slight discoloration is observed on the surface - Upon magnification, a condition resembling black stains is seen - A spectrum of CuO was obtained from the discolored area - The nature of the discoloration is believed to be copper oxide formed on the surface of the copper *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Shall we clarify the molecular structure of organic compounds a bit more?

Distinguish compounds with similar molecular structures through NMR analysis, elucidating the bonding positions of side chains and substituents, as well as branching structures!

At Aites Co., Ltd., we conduct 1H NMR analysis of phthalate esters. NMR analysis is an effective method for distinguishing compounds with similar molecular structures and elucidating structures such as the bonding positions of side chains and substituents, as well as branching structures. In organic synthesis and polymer synthesis, it is an essential analysis to confirm whether the targeted molecular structure has been obtained. The characteristic effects and efficacy of pharmaceuticals, supplements, food, and fibers are influenced by the positions of substituents in the molecular group and the molecular structure. Our skilled team will provide in-depth organic molecular structure analysis. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Analysis of polymerization initiators in light-curing resins.

Analysis of trace components in materials using thermal desorption GCMS! We perform characterization of various materials.

Aites analyzed photopolymerization initiators in UV-curable resins using GCMS and detected Irgacure 184, a type of photoinitiator (light radical polymerization initiator). There are various structures of photoinitiators, and the wavelength of light they absorb and their reaction mechanisms differ depending on their structure. Such substances cannot be identified through main component analysis like IR, making thermal desorption GCMS analysis effective. Our company conducts characterization of various materials by analyzing and identifying trace components in materials using thermal desorption GCMS. Please feel free to contact us when needed. [Examples of photoinitiators] ■ Light radical polymerization initiators ■ Photoinitiators for positive photoresists ■ Light crosslinking agents for negative photoresists *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Strengthening measures against extreme heat through "visualization" and "heat shielding construction"! The comprehensive catalog (2026) for achieving safety and energy conservation in factories and warehouses has been completed.

  • NEW
  • CATALOG

In preparation for this summer's extreme heat, we have completed a "Heatwave Countermeasure Catalog" that will help improve the working environment in the manufacturing and logistics industries. The catalog includes a wide range of products for facility improvements, such as fireproof certified heat-shielding sheets that cut radiant heat by 97%, heat-shielding curtains, roof and window countermeasure products, and fans suitable for large spaces, as well as black globe thermometers that can measure WBGT, wearable alert bands, mobile cooling shelters, and fan-equipped work clothing. We have consolidated measures for "building countermeasures," "work space countermeasures," and "personal countermeasures" into one volume. It can also be used as reference material for discussions in safety and health committees. Please take a look at the specific measures that simultaneously achieve heat countermeasures and energy conservation/CO₂ reduction.

We have started experiments on drug-resistant bacteria!

  • NEW
  • COMPANY

We have recently started a demonstration experiment aimed at addressing antibiotic-resistant bacteria in dairy farming. Utilizing compost environments, we will examine the impact of using our technology-based aqueous solutions on microbial dynamics. This experiment is being conducted with field cooperation, aiming to establish a new approach that contributes to the realization of a sustainable livestock environment and the reduction of antibiotic usage. In this trial, we will set up a spray group (Group H) and a non-spray group (Group C), and will conduct a time-series comparison before spraying, immediately after spraying, and at 1, 3, 7, 14, 28, and 42 days, as well as at the maturation stage. We will perform sampling from the upper, middle, and lower layers of the compost at a depth of 10 cm, while simultaneously collecting temperature logs (external temperature and two internal compost temperatures) to analyze microbial changes and fermentation status from multiple angles. Based on scientific data, we will pursue a balance between safety and effectiveness, and work towards contributing to the livestock industry.
