The "Commercial Edge AI Network Camera NPA-1" announced this time is equipped with a newly developed shutter, allowing it to "close its eyes." This seemingly simple action makes it immediately clear that recording is not taking place, balancing consideration for the privacy of those being filmed with the reassurance of a surveillance camera. This product features a compact body measuring 120×42×29mm, housing a 5-megapixel camera and a wide-angle commercial lens. It is capable of shooting in the dark with its infrared capabilities. It enables monitoring via wireless LAN in offices and factories, and by attaching a separately sold MicroSD card, it can record for about 20 days (assuming 24 hours a day) within this body (when using a 256GB card), making installation in monitoring locations easier. The design of this product was carried out in Japan, and the recording to the MicroSD card is encrypted using know-how from the railway industry, ensuring the safety of the captured footage. Equipped with edge AI, it is planned to include expanded features such as people counting in the future, making this camera one that evolves as you use it.
