We are engaged in product development and performance evaluation to shape our customers' requests. We provide testing evaluation equipment and examples of evaluations. We will teach you the basics of performance evaluation.

Screws are small components, but they play a significant role as functional parts in "fastening." Performance evaluation is essential to shape our customers' requests. For example, we have a series of screws designed for special octagonal shapes in resin. The starting point was a customer's request for a nut that wouldn't rotate when embedded in resin. Using FEM analysis, we selected the optimal shape from 40 different designs. Collaborating with the production technology and manufacturing departments, we developed an insert nut that can withstand high torque fastening. To turn requests into reality, it is necessary to have evaluation capabilities to ensure proposed performance. During the development stage, we need to consider performance requirements and mass production feasibility, and after development, we must confirm the design performance and mass production quality, among various evaluations. Our company is equipped with various testing and evaluation facilities, including those developed in collaboration with academia. "Forging processing" refers to a type of plastic processing that shapes metal materials using molds. Unlike cutting processes, it minimizes material waste and is suitable for mass production. At Daiichi Industry, we manufacture both "bolts" and "nuts" through "cold forging processing." This document includes the advantages and disadvantages of forging processing, as well as examples of the forming processes for bolts and nuts/colors.
