The lubricant analysis showed high varnish levels, but no measures were taken. After introducing EPT's technology, a visual inspection of the tank, bearings, and hydraulic components revealed that a significant amount of varnish was removed in a short purification period. The "SVR 1200-M" is a device that can safely resolve varnish issues in lubricating oil. To remove soluble contaminants without affecting the additives in turbine oil, it uses ion exchange resin and EPT's ICB filter technology. Removal of acids and dissolved metals (ICB). The ICB filter module uses weakly basic anion resin and removes all acids and dissolved metals. Additionally, the ICB filter does not perform actual ion exchange (separation of neutral salts).

The TMR moisture removal system is a product designed to remove moisture and contaminants from lubricating oil and hydraulic fluid tanks. Moisture, contaminant particles, and metal ion contaminants can enter the oil tank through various means. The TMR moisture removal system prevents the entry of moisture and contaminants by continuously supplying dry air into the headspace of the tank. The dry air that enters the tank absorbs moisture and exits through the vent. By constantly introducing dry air, it prevents metal components released into the atmosphere from seawater, industry, and agriculture from entering the oil tank. The required amount of air is very small, so the tank will not be pressurized. It cannot be used if the tank is under negative pressure or if a ventilation fan is installed, so please stop the operation of those devices. The TMR moisture removal system is a very user-friendly product made of high-performance hollow fiber membranes and an aluminum casing.

The only proven device in the world that can safely solve the varnish problem in lubricating oil. In the past, electrostatic oil cleaning devices have been recommended as a measure to remove varnish from lubricating oil. While electrostatic oil cleaning seems effective, it eventually loses its ability to lower QSA and MPC values. The reason for this is that electrostatic oil cleaning devices only have the capability to remove insoluble substances, and they cannot eliminate the varnish that is extracted from the lubricating oil. What is certain about the varnish problem is that the oxidation byproducts of lubricating oil are varnish. The soluble contaminants, which are precursors to varnish, accumulate and cause chemical reactions, ultimately producing high molecular weight monomers and polymers, which extract varnish from the oil and lead to sludge deposition. The ICB technology built into EPT's SVR (Soluble Varnish Removal) system is an oil cleaning device that removes soluble contaminants before they turn into varnish.
