Alpes Lasers has improved its old product, the room-temperature pulsed broad gain laser for EC, and has started handling a new mid-infrared light source called "GLIDER." The GLIDER allows for a wide range of adjustments and is a monolithic all-in-one light source based on an external resonator design, requiring no assembly or external drivers. The output is a single light beam, and the wavelength can be selected in a range of up to approximately 2200 cm⁻¹. The GLIDER is designed for single-mode operation with a wide range of spectral tuning and consists of a single or multiple quantum cascade laser (QCL) gain chips, a retrofitted lattice-tuned extended optical cavity, drivers, and control software. The system is housed in a sealed enclosure in an assembled state, so no adjustments are necessary. The GLIDER can be used in a single-module configuration or a multi-module configuration. In the multi-module configuration, it can accommodate up to four different modules to cover a broader range. The system comes with a controller for a web-based graphical user interface that provides access to all functions.

Nanoplus has been manufacturing DFB lasers and FP lasers for over 20 years, incorporating patented unique manufacturing technologies, and is specialized in high-precision gas sensing designs for industries, manufacturing, and research. In addition to the above products, in recent years, the company has also focused on the design and manufacture of Superluminescent Diode (SLD) products, offering wavelengths ranging from 760 to 2900 nm. A significant feature of SLDs is that they combine the high spatial coherence and brightness characteristics of laser diodes with the very broad spectral characteristics inherent to LEDs. The output light is derived from the amplified spontaneous emission (ASE) obtained from the epitaxial structure of laser diodes, where laser oscillation is suppressed by special methods. SLDs are adopted as optimal light sources in many innovative technologies, including Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT), low-coherence interferometry, and Fiber Bragg Grating (FBG) sensing.

Nanoplus has been manufacturing DFB lasers and FP lasers for over 20 years, incorporating patented unique manufacturing technologies, and is specialized in high-precision gas sensing design for industries, manufacturing, and research. This technology has also been applied to mid-infrared LEDs, and our products are chosen in various equipment and devices around the world. Our LED products come in two types: ceramic submount-based light-emitting devices and SMD types, offering higher power conversion rates and maximum outputs exceeding 1mW compared to older LED products that operate at room temperature. The increasing demand for continuous analysis in specific fields such as environmental and health aspects, as well as security applications, has created a need for cost-effective and energy-efficient light sources. Nanoplus has utilized DFB technology and semiconductor expertise to produce cost-effective and high-efficiency broadband light sources in the mid-infrared range. Nanoplus mid-infrared LEDs demonstrate higher wall plug efficiency and maximum output compared to older products that operate continuously at room temperature. The low-power consumption mid-infrared LEDs from Nanoplus are the ideal light source for gas detectors.

Teledyne Judson's InSb detector is a high-performance InSb (indium antimonide) detector with a long wavelength cutoff around 5.5 μm, optimized for sensitivity, response speed, impedance, and peak wavelength by operating at the appropriate temperature. These detectors demonstrate high reliability and performance across a wavelength range of 1.0 to 5.5 μm. The product comes in two types: cryocooled and liquid nitrogen cooled (LN2, dewar specification). The LN2 version ensures optimal performance by maintaining the necessary low temperatures to minimize thermal background. Additionally, the cryocooled package can operate without a refrigerant.

Nanoplus's "DFB Laser" detects multiple trace gases in various environments. For example, it ranges from detecting water vapor in gas pipelines in the desert of Nevada, USA, to checking the oxygen levels in the lungs of premature infants. It is manufactured based on a unique lateral coupling, allowing for the production of LDs in the wavelength range of 0.76 to 14.0 μm. Additionally, it is independent of the material system in manufacturing and provides excellent single-mode radiation with superior optical characteristics. 【Features】 ■ CW ■ Room temperature operation ■ Tunable ■ Customizable with ±0.1 nm precision ■ Over 20 years of proven performance ■ Implemented in over 30,000 facilities worldwide *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
