Suitable for maintenance of steel structures requiring high weather resistance and durability! 【Process-saving specifications】 ● This is a two-coat heavy-duty anti-corrosion fluororesin coating that combines the New Epoxy 21HB primer (120μm) and New Fluorine HB topcoat (55μm). 【Excellent weather resistance, rust prevention, and good workability】 ● The topcoat is a high weather-resistant thick film fluororesin paint that prevents film deterioration under ultraviolet rays, rainwater, and corrosive environments. * It has twice the thickness of general fluororesin topcoats. ● The primer is a low-solvent thick film modified epoxy resin paint. It contains a powerful non-polluting anti-rust pigment, providing excellent corrosion resistance. * It has about twice the thickness of general modified epoxy resin paints. ● Despite being a thick film finish, it offers stress-free and good workability when brushed or rolled. 【Environmentally friendly low-solvent painting system】 ● Both the primer and topcoat are terpene-soluble and have a mild odor, considering human and environmental factors. No lead or chromium compounds are used. 【Cost reduction and shortened construction period through process saving】 ● The conventional three to four processes of fluororesin coating specifications have been reduced to two processes, leading to reduced labor costs due to labor-saving and manpower reduction, as well as shortened scaffolding setup and construction periods.

"New Urethane HB Topcoat" is a weak solvent thick film type polyurethane resin topcoat that maintains the film performance of conventional polyurethane resin topcoats, such as weather resistance, while having a thick film property that allows it to be used as both an intermediate and topcoat. By combining this product with the weak solvent thick film modified epoxy resin primer "New Epoxy 21 HB Primer," significant cost reductions and shortened construction periods can be achieved in repainting factory plant equipment through the streamlining of heavy-duty anti-corrosion polyurethane resin coating processes. In 2021, our company already launched the weak solvent thick film fluororesin topcoat "New Fluoro HB Topcoat" as part of the New Fluoro HB System, which includes: Primer: New Epoxy 21 HB Primer 120μm × 1 coat Topcoat: New Fluoro HB Topcoat 55μm × 1 coat, totaling 175μm This established a two-coat streamlined weak solvent type fluororesin coating system, and we have accumulated a track record of its adoption. Based on the above experience and results, it has also become possible to reduce the conventional process of two coats of modified epoxy resin primer plus two coats of polyurethane resin intermediate and topcoat (a total of four processes) to just two processes. The thick film streamlined specifications can be utilized to improve and resolve issues related to the maintenance and preservation of steel structures, such as shortening construction periods, reducing labor, and lowering costs.

The need to repaint aging coatings with heavy-duty anti-corrosion paint specifications, such as high weather-resistant coatings, to reduce lifecycle costs is a social issue in the maintenance of steel structures. The required performance includes various factors such as corrosion resistance, weather resistance, a wide range of compatible materials, and reduced processes and labor. "Tight Primer" has been on the market for over 40 years and can be applied to a wide variety of deteriorated coatings. It can also be top-coated with both strong and weak solvents as a primer for modified epoxy resin paint. It has been widely adopted in the field of plant and infrastructure steel structures, architectural steel structures, general iron parts, and the repainting of metal roofs for factories and single-family homes. Currently, based on our experience and customer needs, we have expanded our range of compatible materials and introduced the reduced process and labor thick film type "Tight Primer #500." Moving forward, we will continue to respond to these needs alongside various high weather-resistant resin topcoat products.
