Our company, Daiwa Heavy Industries Co., Ltd., was founded in the second year of the Tenpo era (1831). With 190 years of tradition and reliable technology, we have inherited the spirit of "tatara ironmaking" and have woven together iron processing techniques. We have two major divisions: the industrial machinery-related equipment division and the housing-related equipment division. The industrial machinery-related equipment division covers all areas of casting, centered around our highly regarded casting technology, and has established a consistent production system for machining and assembly. On the other hand, the housing-related equipment division focuses on the manufacturing of cast iron enameled bathtubs, broadly observing the culture of "bathing" and continuously proposing a rich lifestyle. Furthermore, we are also focusing on utilizing our casting technology for landscape products and cast iron materials for construction.
