[Mirror Introduction Case] Smooth Walking Training in the Rehabilitation Floor!

A big difference between "having" and "not having"! A case where walking training in the rehabilitation floor was achieved without disrupting the pace (Azusawa Hospital).

We would like to introduce a case study of the mirror "Rami" handled by Komi Corporation, which has been implemented at Azukizawa Hospital. In the rehabilitation department located on the 4th floor of the hospital, the hallway is used as a walking training circuit. Patients undergoing training have previously walked cautiously around corners, fearing collisions. As a result, their walking pace slowed down, making accurate measurements difficult, and it sometimes did not contribute to effective rehabilitation. Since the installation of this product, patients can check for safety without stopping, allowing them to walk without disrupting their pace. It is also used for checking both sides when exiting the restroom and for confirming when bringing a stretcher out of the bathroom. [Case Overview] ■ Product Used: Rami ■ Effect: Safety checks can be performed without stopping *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

[Mirror Introduction Case] Reducing stress during cargo transportation!

Stress during cargo transportation significantly reduced! A case where blind spot situations became understandable (Tama Medical PFI).

We would like to introduce a case where the mirror "Rami," handled by Komi Corporation, was implemented at Tama Medical PFI. In the hospital corridors, large carts carrying heavy loads often pass through, so those transporting items have developed the habit of carefully pushing their carts while being mindful not to collide, moving "slowly and carefully." Since installing this product, they can proceed with an understanding of the situation around the corners, providing a sense of security. "We cannot say that the speed of transportation has increased just because we have added mirrors, but the stress during transportation has significantly decreased, and we have received positive feedback from the staff," was the feedback we received. [Case Overview] ■ Product Used: Rami ■ Effects - Ability to proceed with an understanding of the situation around corners - Significant reduction in stress when transporting items *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

[Mirror Implementation Case] Installation of mirrors for the safe transport of patients.

We installed mirrors in five locations within the hospital! Here is a case study on how we have made safe transportation possible (Former NTT West Japan Tokai Hospital).

We would like to introduce a case where the mirrors handled by Komi Corporation were implemented at NTT West Japan Tokai Hospital. Among the patients, there are those with weak muscle strength or difficulty stabilizing their footing, which raises concerns that collisions could lead to falls. To prevent fall accidents and ensure the safe transport of patients, we installed 'FF Mirror Corridors (for left and right)/Lami/Lami Dome/Lami Corner' in five locations within the hospital. As a result, we received feedback stating, "There is a significant difference in peace of mind with the mirrors compared to without. Since the mirrors were installed, the staff has become more attentive and can now transport patients safely." [Case Summary] ■ Products Used: FF Mirror Corridors (for left and right)/Lami/Lami Dome/Lami Corner ■ Effect: Enabled safe transport *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

[Mirror Implementation Case] Safety checks can now be performed with mirrors.

To ensure safety with mirrors! Introducing case studies of 'FF Mirror Passage' and 'Rami'.

We would like to introduce a case where the mirrors handled by Komi Corporation were implemented at Tokyo Medical University Hospital. At this hospital, they were creating data for around 400 patients at peak times, and with nurses and stretchers all moving quickly, there were concerns about safety. To address this, we installed the "FF Mirror Corridor" at the corners where stretchers turn, and "Rami" directly in front of the doors of each room in the radiology department. As a result, we received feedback saying, "We can now confirm safety with the mirrors, and we feel very secure." [Case Overview] ■ Products Used: FF Mirror Corridor (one-sided) / Rami ■ Effect: Safety confirmation with mirrors *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

[Mirror Introduction Case] For the safety of patients undergoing directional training!

Installed in a place easily visible to patients undergoing walking training! A case where the level of safety and security of the course has increased.

We would like to introduce a case where the mirror "Lami/Lami Dome" handled by Komi Corporation was introduced to T Hospital. In the rehabilitation floor of the hospital, the corridors serve as training courses for walking and other activities. Since there are areas where the paths of medical staff overlap, measures using mirrors were implemented to prevent collisions with patients. To ensure that patients can also utilize the mirrors, we chose large and easily visible ones and installed them in positions where they are easily seen by people walking. By not only having staff pay attention but also involving patients in cooperation, the level of safety and security was further enhanced. [Case Overview] ■ Product Used: Lami/Lami Dome ■ Effect: Increased level of safety and security in the course *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

[Mirror Implementation Case] Collision Prevention in Hallways! Installed at the Eye Level of Wheelchair Users

To prevent collisions in the hallway! An example of installing mirrors at a low position for wheelchair users (Tokyo Business Services).

We would like to introduce a case where Komi Corporation's "FF Mirror Corridor (One-Sided) / (Both-Sided)" was implemented at Tokyo Business Services. We had felt the need for collision prevention in corridors for some time, and the opportunity to implement it arose when we learned that another company in the same building had installed our mirrors. The mirrors can be installed at a height that suits the line of sight, so we set them slightly lower than usual to accommodate wheelchair users. In corridors with elevators and restrooms, we felt a sense of danger as employees would gather all at once during lunch breaks, but since the mirrors were installed, we can now anticipate when people are coming. [Case Overview] ■ Product Used: FF Mirror Corridor (One-Sided) / FF Mirror Corridor (Both-Sided) ■ Effect: Collision prevention in corridors where people gather *For more details, please refer to the PDF materials or feel free to contact us.

[Mirror Implementation Case] Reducing Elevator Wait Times with Mirrors!

Reducing elevator wait times! A case study of installation to prevent missed rides (Adachi Medical Center, Tokyo Women's Medical University).

We would like to introduce a case where Komi Corporation's "FF Mirror for Elevator Cages" was implemented at the Adachi Medical Center affiliated with Tokyo Women's Medical University. Due to the wider entrance of the center's elevator, it was inconvenient as people waiting for the elevator at the entrance could not be seen from the control panel. After installing the mirror, it became possible to see people waiting for the elevator at the entrance even from the control panel. By pressing the "Open" button, it allows for consideration of those getting on, thus preventing anyone from being left behind. 【Case Overview】 ■ Product Used: FF Mirror for Elevator Cages (F9BN) ■ Effect: Reduction of elevator waiting time, prevention of leaving people behind *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

[Mirror Introduction Case] Safety confirmation during preschoolers' walks!

Introducing a case study of the installation of a self-standing embedded type mirror used for safety checks before walks (Shoue Shirayuri Nursery School).

At Sayonara Shirayuri Nursery, we have installed two mirrors each at the front and back. The road in front of the nursery is frequently used by bicycles, so when staff take the children out for a walk, they use the mirrors to check for oncoming bicycles. Additionally, the mirror in the back parking area is used by contractors for safety checks when pulling out their vehicles. Thanks to the mirrors, we have received feedback that parents feel secure taking their children out for walks. 【Implementation Effects】 ■ Product Used: FF Mirror Standalone Embedded Type ■ Effects - Staff check for oncoming bicycles when taking children out for walks. - The mirror in the back parking area is used for safety checks by contractors when pulling out their vehicles. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Safety Measures Mirror Implementation Case: For Safety Measures in Apartment Parking Lots!

To ensure that oncoming vehicles can be confirmed in advance within the apartment parking lot! We introduce a case of implementing FF mirror vehicle exits and FF mirror standalone embedded types.

Safety measures at the entrance and exit of the condominium parking lot include the installation of "FF Mirror for Vehicle Exits," and to address blind spots within the parking lot, "FF Mirror Standalone Embedded Type" has been installed. Since the installation, we have received positive feedback from residents. Resident A: I had heard about a collision accident in the parking lot, so I was always cautious while passing through, but with the mirrors installed, I can now confirm oncoming vehicles in advance, making it safer to navigate. Since this is also a route for children going to school, I’m happy that I can see pedestrians and that the parking lot has become safer. Resident B: At the area with the planting, I was always turning in cautiously because I was making a right turn to enter, so I believe everyone will benefit from this! I also appreciated the mirror at the parking lot entrance for checking pedestrians. [Implementation Effects] ■ Products Used: FF Mirror for Vehicle Exits / FF Mirror Standalone Embedded Type ■ Effects - Safety confirmation at the parking lot entrance and exit! - Addressing blind spots within the parking lot and ensuring safety! *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Safety measures: Case study on mirror installation. Safety measures with freely installable mirrors!

Enhance safety checks with a freely installable stand mirror! (Kanagawa Urban Transportation)

We would like to introduce the feedback from Kanagawa Urban Transportation, who implemented the FF Mirror Stand Mirror as a safety measure when exiting the parking space onto the sidewalk. There were concerns raised internally about the possibility of contact with pedestrians and electric assist bicycles when the hired vehicles exit the parking space onto the road, leading to the decision to install Komi's "FF Stand Mirror" as a safety measure. We also considered installing it on a pillar, but since the installation location was slightly recessed, it was difficult to confirm the sidewalk properly. Therefore, we concluded that a freely placed stand mirror would be the most suitable option. Since the installation, drivers have been able to check the mirror before starting, and it has received positive feedback, with comments like "We can now confidently enter the road."

Safety Measures: Case Study on the Introduction of Mirrors for Safety Measures at Apartment Parking Lot Entrances and Exits.

Safety check at the entrance and exit of the parking lot's landscaping! (CENTER RESIDENCE)

We would like to introduce the feedback from CENTER RESIDENCE, who implemented FF mirrors for vehicle exits and FF mirror standalone embedded types as safety measures for the entrance and exit of the parking lot in the condominium. When pulling out of the parking lot located behind the condominium, I couldn't see the sidewalk well due to the blind spots created by the block wall and the building. I was always worried that an accident might occur someday. We installed mirrors on both sides of the entrance; one on the block wall and the other in the planting area. Both have a simple design that does not detract from the appearance of the condominium. The previously blind sidewalk is now clearly visible.

Safety measures: Case study on mirror installation for preventing near-miss incidents in office corridors!

After the installation of the mirror, there are no more sudden surprises. (T Center)

We would like to introduce the feedback from T Center, who implemented FF mirror corridors as a measure to prevent near-miss incidents in the office hallway. We installed two mirrors in order to prevent collisions when exiting the office on the second floor into the corridor. We initially introduced one unit as a trial, and since the response was positive, we added another one. Although there have been no actual collision incidents, the feeling of unease when encountering someone head-on has disappeared since the mirrors were installed. We are grateful to have received a warning plate for free by registering as a user.

Safety measures: Case study on mirror installation for safety checks in store backyards!

We are using mirrors for safety measures in the backyard. (Lala Terrace Kawaguchi)

We would like to introduce the voices of our clients at Lala Terrace Kawaguchi, who have implemented Lami and Lami Dome as safety measures in the backyard. - I check the mirror to confirm that no one is coming around the corner because I don't want to collide with anyone. Conversely, I feel that corners without mirrors are dangerous. - When transporting goods with a cart, I check the mirror to see if anyone is coming from the opposite side. - I use the mirror to check if anyone is coming with large items. There have been times when I almost collided in areas without mirrors, so it has been very helpful.

Crime Prevention Measures: Examples of Using Mirrors for Preventing Accompaniment in Apartments

We have introduced the "FF Mirror Corridor Left and Right (FT34)" as a measure to prevent group movement.

We introduced FF mirror corridors as a measure to prevent tailgating in the condominium. Here are the voices from L Mansion. As a security enhancement measure at the entrance of the condominium, we installed mirrors to prevent tailgating. We were also suggested a small mirror to be attached to the auto-lock control panel, but after trying out a larger type installed above the control panel, we received feedback from residents that "the larger one has better visibility and is more effective." Therefore, we adopted the 'FF mirror corridor left and right (FT34).' Since the presence of the mirror can be confirmed from outside, it has also contributed to raising security awareness, and I feel that choosing the large mirror was the right decision. In particular, residents with children expressed a desire for it to be installed, and I feel that we are contributing to creating a safe and secure living environment. Before purchasing, we were able to hear the opinions of residents who experienced the actual visibility during installation through the "free loan system," so the management association board was able to adopt it with confidence. Installation was also easy.

Safety measures: Examples of mirror use for collision prevention in accommodation facilities.

It is very helpful for safety measures in the narrow corridors made cramped by guests' luggage. (Hotel Gracery Shinjuku)

We would like to introduce the feedback from Hotel Gracery Shinjuku, which has implemented FF mirror corridors and Lami as safety measures in the hallways of their accommodation facilities. During the Safety and Health Committee meeting, a concern was raised that "guests' luggage is often in the hallway, making it narrow and likely to cause collisions." Initially, we had installed the 'FF Mirror Corridor Left and Right (FT22),' but there was a request to increase the size of the mirrors, so we changed to the 'FF Mirror Corridor Left and Right (FT46).' Additionally, due to the high volume of luggage in the hallways and the frequent foot traffic from employees and vendors, we also introduced 'Lami (L5)' as a safety measure this time. As a result of installing the mirrors, it seems that almost all staff members now check the mirrors to confirm that no one is coming from the sides, and the likelihood of collisions has significantly decreased.

[Mirror Introduction Case] So you can go to the restroom with peace of mind, even in a hurry!

I can now go to the bathroom with peace of mind, even in a hurry! Case study of the introduction of FF mirror (Bunka Hoso).

We would like to introduce a case study of the 'FF Mirror Presence' handled by Komi Corporation, which was implemented at Bunka Hoso. During live radio broadcasts, performers sometimes hurriedly went to the restroom while keeping an eye on the time, leading to awkward moments when someone entered while they were using it, and there were instances where they actually bumped into someone. After installing the 'FF Mirror Presence', we received many comments from employees, staff, and performers such as "It helps prevent collisions" and "We want to install it in various places." [Case Overview] - Implementing Company: Bunka Hoso - Implemented Product: FF Mirror Presence - Results: Many comments from performers stating "It helps prevent collisions" and "We want to install it in various places." *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

[Mirror Implementation Case] U-shaped curve at the entrance of the men's restroom!

Privacy-conscious blurring processing! Case study of implementation at the U-shaped curve of the men's restroom entrance (Hasuda City Comprehensive Cultural Center Hastopia).

We would like to introduce a case study of the 'FF Mirror Awareness' handled by Komi Corporation, implemented at the Hasutopia Hall in Hasuda City. In the men's restroom of the hall, the entrance curves in a U-shape, which often led to people almost colliding with each other when entering or exiting. When we wanted to address this issue, we discovered a collision prevention mirror in a commercial facility's restroom. After searching online, we found this product. In addition to the effect of providing a vague reflection, we intentionally installed it at a slightly lower position to avoid showing faces, allowing us to prevent collisions while considering privacy. [Overview] ■ Product used: FF Mirror Awareness ■ Effect: Enabled collision avoidance while considering privacy *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

[Mirror Introduction Case] Measures Against Shoplifting in Bookstores!

Utilizing mirrors to restructure shoplifting prevention! A case where customers felt at ease with the unobtrusive mirrors (Kinokuniya Bookstore, Shinjuku South Store).

We would like to introduce a case where the mirrors we handle were implemented at Kinokuniya Bookstore, Shinjuku South Store. Since the opening of our store, we have been using television cameras for theft prevention. However, as losses due to shoplifting increased, both security experts and employees requested the installation of mirrors, which we then installed on all floors. After installing our mirrors, we received feedback saying, "The dome mirror mounted on the ceiling feels completely natural, and we are satisfied! With the 360° multi-vision, it reflects brightly and clearly, and we expect a deterrent effect." [Case Overview] ■ Products Used: Round Mirrors / Lami / Dome Mirrors ■ Effect: The 360° multi-vision reflects brightly and clearly, and a deterrent effect is expected. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

[Mirror Introduction Case] Preventing collisions and improving work efficiency in hospitals!

Detecting patient movements even while working at the nurse station! A case where 99 of our mirrors were installed (Ashikaga Red Cross Hospital).

We would like to introduce a case where the mirrors "Lami/Lami Dome/Lami Corner" handled by Komi Corporation were implemented at Ashikaga Red Cross Hospital. We promptly put this into practice. In this new hospital, we have continued this idea, installing mirrors not only in areas where employee traffic concentrates at certain times, but also in the inpatient ward corridors where meal delivery carts pass through. As a result, staff have reported feeling reassured, saying, "Even while working at the nurse station, we can detect patient movements." The design of the mirrors has received very positive feedback from staff and almost everyone who has visited so far, stating, "The design of the mirrors is good." [Mirror Implementation Case] Safety Measures for Commercial Facility Backyards!

Installed in about 20 locations, including stores and backyards! The installation of mirrors has created a sense of security (for a certain commercial facility in Shibuya Ward).

Here is a case study of the mirrors we handle being introduced to a certain commercial facility (located in Shibuya Ward). Due to the limited area, the facility has allocated a wide space for tenants, resulting in a narrow backroom. After the opening, while surveying the interior, we identified several locations that posed potential hazards. Therefore, by utilizing the "rental system," we carried several types of mirrors and selected them, resulting in approximately 20 measures for both the store and the backroom. In particular, the backroom often requires transporting goods with carts, making the need for mirrors high, and it was felt that their installation created a sense of security.
