Measures to prevent head-on collisions at intersections! Case study of implementing "FF mirror passage (one-sided)" in four locations (Chofu Higashiyama Hospital).
We would like to introduce a case study of the "FF Mirror Corridor (One-Sided)" handled by Komi Corporation, which was implemented at Chofu Higashiyama Hospital. At this hospital, the product was introduced in four locations as a preventive measure before any incidents occurred. As a result, it has been helpful in preventing head-on collisions, and we received feedback stating, "The wide field of view makes it convenient as I can see what I want to see clearly." Company information
When it comes to mirrors, most people probably think of mirrors that reflect only themselves (such as full-length mirrors, hand mirrors, or three-way mirrors). However, Komi's mirror is designed to observe the movements of other objects and people, and to show "consideration" for others. For example, it can be used to check with a mirror if there is anyone coming around a corner to avoid a collision, or to see if there is someone trying to get into an elevator and wait for them. Komi's "considerate mirror" is useful worldwide, from convenience stores to airplanes.
