We delivered Flood Guard F to Shinagawa Ward's 2nd Nobeyama Elementary School in Tokyo. Concerns were raised not only about damage to classrooms and hallways but also to electrical equipment and supplies, as well as a potential decline in functionality as an evacuation center, necessitating enhanced preemptive measures. In this context, Flood Guard was introduced due to its easy installation without tools, quick setup time, and user-friendly operation that can be managed by teaching staff, making it suitable for incorporation into daily educational activities and disaster prevention training. It contributes to ensuring the safety of students and maintaining the functionality of the facility.

Fujikogyo Co., Ltd. (Hyogo Prefecture, Kakogawa City) has been awarded the Grand Prize in the Disaster Prevention Goods Awards, Category of Disaster Prevention Products, at the 7th event. The reasons for receiving the Grand Prize are based on the following points: - Lightweight and high performance - Rapid installation and removal - Cost performance with repeat usability - Adaptability to urban inland flooding As for future initiatives: ■ Product improvement and lineup enhancement - We are pursuing designs that are even lighter and more high-performing, aiming for further improvements in convenience and water-stopping performance. ■ Expansion of achievements and development of new application scenarios - We have surpassed 110,000 units in implementation and are actively promoting the spread of our equipment. - Applications beyond disaster prevention In resource recovery sites, flood guards are being applied to assist in adjusting river flow rates and upstream movement. - Demonstrations overseas In April 2025, our product will be used in an EV fire response demonstration at a fire station in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, receiving high praise from firefighters for its ease of use and excellent water-stopping performance. ■ Diversification of sales and information dissemination strategies From 2024, we are widely recruiting new agents on a national scale to strengthen our distribution network, utilizing information dissemination through actual usage scenes such as photos and videos from users.
