We would like to introduce the design and construction of a music editing studio compatible with Dolby Atmos for a game production company that we undertook. ■ Construction Location: Tokyo, Japan ■ Construction Details: Design and construction of a Dolby Atmos-compatible music editing studio At the request of a game production company, we designed and constructed a music editing studio compatible with Dolby Atmos. Due to layout constraints, the floor plan was square, which posed acoustic challenges; however, we prioritized the immersive experience and three-dimensional sound representation required for games, pursuing high precision in the acoustic environment. From the design stage, we implemented meticulous measures throughout, resulting in a studio capable of clearly reproducing sound localization and depth. ■ Customer Feedback: The exterior floor plan of the editing studio was square, which presented acoustically disadvantageous conditions. As a result, there were concerns about standing waves and sound localization, and we were worried about whether we could effectively reproduce Dolby Atmos-compatible spatial audio. However, the acoustic ingenuity applied from the design stage led to the realization of a high-precision editing environment compatible with Dolby Atmos. Sound localization and depth are well expressed, allowing for the seamless production of immersive sound sources.

We would like to introduce the design and construction of the video streaming studio we conducted. ■Location: Kanagawa Prefecture ■Content: Corporate Video Streaming Studio We designed and constructed a video streaming studio for a company. The studio was designed to be user-friendly for employees during web seminars and recruitment activities, featuring two glass partitions that allow visibility into the studio from the outside. To reduce reflections from the glass, sound absorption measures were implemented to improve the acoustic environment. Additionally, we introduced an equipment layout and streaming system that are easy to operate even without specialized knowledge, enabling employees to use the studio smoothly. We provide an environment that contributes to the improvement of quality in information dissemination and recruitment activities. ■Customer Feedback: We appreciate the design of the streaming studio for web seminars and recruitment activities, which is easy to operate and user-friendly for employees. We would like to introduce the design and measurement of the drum school practice studio that we conducted. ■ Location: Kanagawa Prefecture ■ Project Details: Drum School Practice Studio This is a case where we designed the practice studio for a drum school and conducted post-construction verification measurements. Since it is located on a high floor of a tenant building, we implemented soundproofing design considering the tenants above and below. We also took sound absorption measures to suppress sound reflection and low-frequency muddiness within the studio, creating a space where sound resonates clearly during practice. This not only prevents the drum sounds from leaking outside but also improves the clarity of sound within the studio. A comfortable studio space has been completed, allowing students to safely refine their performance skills. ■ Customer Feedback: We were worried about sound leakage to the floors above and below, but thanks to the soundproofing design, we now have a studio where we can perform without worrying about our surroundings. Unnecessary echoes have also been suppressed, so I believe students can concentrate on their practice while clearly hearing the sounds.
