The non-sprinkling snow melting method using groundwater circulates groundwater (with a temperature of around 15°C) drawn up into polyethylene pipes (PE pipes) laid within the pavement to warm the surface and melt the snow. By combining it with semi-flexible pavement, the construction speed until completion is fast, and costs can be controlled. To enhance the snow melting effect, it is necessary to bury the PE pipes at a shallow depth (less than 10 cm), which requires high construction skills in structural design and construction methods. [Key Points] - Direct use of groundwater - Shorter construction period compared to concrete pavement - Circulated water is returned underground *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.

Free membership registrationThe heated water circulation road heating system generates warm water by heating clean water with a gas boiler and circulates it through heat radiation pipes (steel pipes) to melt snow. Since it does not spray water, concerns about pedestrians getting wet from splashes and water mist are reduced. It is considered to be more efficient than electric heating systems over large areas. In the case of the Korinbo intersection in Ishikawa Prefecture, an epoxy asphalt mixture is used in the protective layer around the pipes to create a robust pavement structure that suppresses the bending of the heat radiation pipes and adequately follows the deformation caused by traffic loads. 【Key Points】 ■ Durable ■ Melts snow with warm water ■ Reduces splashing *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.

Free membership registrationOur company is engaged in road construction utilizing ICT technology. For example, we use MC graders that automatically adjust the height of the blade according to the 3D design data read by the grader. This can also be expected to assist operators with insufficient skills, but if a skilled worker who understands the characteristics uses it, the finishing work can be significantly sped up. Additionally, since it follows the 3D design data, the quality of the finish is improved. [Examples of Utilization] ■ Use of MC graders ■ Use of ground-based laser scanners (TLS) ■ Use of MC pavement milling machines ■ Use of roller acceleration response method ■ Use of non-destructive asphalt pavement density measuring devices *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.

Free membership registrationWe would like to introduce our non-destructive road measurement series, "Hutec Scan Q." Using an action camera mounted on the front of the vehicle, we capture the surface conditions of the pavement. This technology aims to reduce environmental impact due to traffic regulations and to streamline operations by analyzing pavement videos captured with commercially available action cameras to create reports, evaluating road damage locations and the extent of damage. This technology was utilized for the rapid selection of collection points during the Noto Peninsula Earthquake in 2024. By analyzing the captured image data, we evaluate the pavement conditions by calculating the crack rate, rut depth, and estimated IRI. We can output photos from each location and composite images of the routes. 【Features】 ■ Transition from visual inspection to vehicle-based analysis ■ Just driving the vehicle is sufficient (no need for regulations or additional equipment) ■ Non-destructive investigation of the pavement ■ Evaluation of pavement conditions (3 elements) from the acquired data *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.
