We would like to introduce a case study of a fish processing factory in Miyagi Prefecture that implemented our "wastewater treatment facility." At this factory, the wastewater treatment equipment was not functioning properly, resulting in an inability to discharge the treated water, which had to be disposed of as industrial waste. We immediately installed a lease machine with a membrane package that could process the wastewater, and after two years of temporary operation, we earned their trust and secured the contract for the main project. As a result, compared to the time when they were disposing of treated water as industrial waste, the running costs have significantly decreased. Additionally, a denitrification tank, which was not present in the previous equipment, was added, allowing for stable operation through nitrogen removal and membrane treatment. The person in charge has expressed their satisfaction, stating that daily operations have become easier. [Case Study] ■Challenges - Wastewater treatment equipment was not functioning properly, preventing discharge. - Treated water had to be disposed of as industrial waste. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Free membership registrationWe would like to introduce a case study of a rice cracker factory in Ibaraki Prefecture that implemented our "wastewater treatment facility." The factory did not have any wastewater treatment equipment and expressed a desire to engage in environmental conservation, prompting them to consider wastewater treatment solutions. We conducted water quality and quantity surveys tailored to their busy season and proposed a plan that would not cause noise issues, taking into account the residential area. This plan was adopted. As a result, by introducing sludge into the adjustment tank, we were able to reduce the unpleasant odor from the rice washing wastewater. Since we did not use any chemicals such as deodorants, the running costs have also been kept low. Additionally, to avoid noise issues, we selected an aeration blower that operates underwater, ensuring that there have been no noise complaints from local residents. [Case Study] ■ Challenges - Desire to engage in environmental conservation - Consideration of the residential area *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Free membership registrationThe removal rate varies significantly depending on the quality of the raw water, but if a strong floc can be formed by adding coagulants, high removal rates can be expected for oil and suspended solids (SS). Advantages: - High capability for removing oil and SS, with higher removal rates compared to grease traps. - Operation without chemical dosing is possible, although the removal rate will decrease. - More compact compared to coagulation and sedimentation. Disadvantages: - Chemical dosing and pressurized flotation incur chemical costs. - Sludge is generated, leading to disposal costs.

Free membership registrationWe would like to introduce a case where our wastewater treatment equipment (membrane in liquid) was adopted at the wastewater treatment facility of the mekabu factory. With the full-scale production at the Sendai factory, enhancing the wastewater treatment facility became an urgent issue. To address the constraints of the factory site (ensuring green space), we adopted a membrane in liquid that can strengthen treatment capacity by installing membrane units in idle tanks. We have received feedback from our customers stating, "Currently, we are using it in conjunction with the existing standard activated sludge method, but since the membrane separation activated sludge method absorbs the load fluctuations, it has made operation management easier and we are grateful for that." [Overview of the Equipment (Excerpt)] ■ Product: Processed colored seaweed, mozuku, mekabu ■ Treated water volume: 600-700m3/day (total), 500m3/day (membrane 1, 200 sheets) ■ Issue: March 2012 *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Free membership registration"We want to stabilize water quality and enable treatment." "We would like to request a consistent approach from investigation to construction and maintenance." These concerns have been addressed by Nakayama Environmental Engineering. This time, we will introduce a case where an existing wastewater treatment facility (batch type) at a seafood processing plant was modified to a membrane treatment facility. Just like the efforts for HACCP in the manufacturing process, attention is also paid to wastewater treatment, but the previous batch method was complicated and difficult to operate. Therefore, to ensure stable treated water quality without worrying about sedimentation, we modified the existing system to a membrane separation activated sludge method. We also have a maintenance management contract and a membrane warranty system in place, ensuring stable treatment continues. 【Overview of the Equipment】 ■ Type of wastewater: Seafood processing wastewater ■ Treated water volume: 200 m3/day ■ Operation: Initial operation from April 2010, resumed in August 2011 *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
