[Case Study of Wastewater Treatment Facility] Rice Cracker Factory in Ibaraki Prefecture (60m3/d Treatment)

Introduction of case studies on the implementation of drainage treatment facilities considering environmental conservation and residential areas.

We would like to introduce a case study of a rice cracker factory in Ibaraki Prefecture that implemented our "wastewater treatment facility." The factory did not have any wastewater treatment equipment and expressed a desire to engage in environmental conservation, prompting them to consider wastewater treatment solutions. We conducted water quality and quantity surveys tailored to their busy season and proposed a plan that would not cause noise issues, taking into account the residential area. This plan was adopted. As a result, by introducing sludge into the adjustment tank, we were able to reduce the unpleasant odor from the rice washing wastewater. Since we did not use any chemicals such as deodorants, the running costs have also been kept low. Additionally, to avoid noise issues, we selected an aeration blower that operates underwater, ensuring that there have been no noise complaints from local residents.
