Seihei Seisakusho, a manufacturer of gas burners and industrial furnaces, will participate in the Thermal Technology 2024 event, which consists of an exhibition of industrial furnaces and related equipment, as well as seminars and lectures, serving as an information dissemination event from the Kansai region. We will propose decarbonization/low-carbon items for production equipment, including: - Low-carbon painting and drying equipment - Hydrogen × electric hybrid aluminum melting and holding furnace - Hydrogen gas burners Additionally, we will be well-prepared to introduce energy-saving burners and furnaces equipped with them.

Free membership registrationAt Seiei Manufacturing, we are working on the development of aluminum industrial furnaces that can contribute to achieving carbon neutrality and a decarbonized society. Recently, we conducted aluminum melting tests using hydrogen gas burners in collaboration with customers aiming for carbon-neutral manufacturing. For the test furnace, we adopted the "SMH type" melting holding furnace, which generates extremely low amounts of oxides. The heat source consisted of a hydrogen-exclusive gas burner "EIS-H2" for melting and an electric heater for holding the molten aluminum, creating a hybrid configuration. In this melting test, we compared the "melting speed" and "quality of molten aluminum" with those of a previously conducted LPG combustion gas burner. We will continue to analyze the detailed test results. Please refer to the attached document for more details about this test furnace. Feel free to contact us regarding the implementation of the tests.
